
The Easter Holidays are nearly over and I had a fantastic time! Skiing was wonderful and my shin gave me no problems at all however the cramp in my toes seems to be getting worse when I ski but hey it is worth it! I even managed to do some short hill runs whilst out in Austria 5.30am runs before skiing are a good idea, it feels nice working different muscle groups after skiing for hours.
Since coming back I have thrown myself back into training and have decided to still run the Three Peaks on Saturday 30th April. Initially I would have been looking for a time of around 4.20 hours but now having been injured I have decided just to do it as a training run, finish feelilng good THEN.......
Take part in my Second ULTRA MARATHON on the 15th May in the Forest of Dean!!
I blame Sandra Bowers for this madness I am now succumbing to, I don't expect to do very well but it is a sure fire way to start my running properly again.
