Well what a month!
Skiing was amazing - the girls and I had an awesome time and the snow was the best it has ever been at that time of year. We even managed to run three days whilst we were there in the snow which was fantastic.
I started training again properly when I got back and had great fun at the Mountain Hardware Open 5 Adventure race in Slaidburn. My partner and I finished 3rd in the female teams which I was delighted with but my partner felt I wasn't quick enough on the bike so dumped me for the next one. oh well never mind!
Adventure race number two was one week later - this time Cannock Chase as a team of Three. Myself, Debbie and Jane England (Our CaniCross buddy) took part in Mountain Biking, Trail running and kayaking and finished FIRST! Hurrah! A great day out - Blizzard came too - although that meant our team name "Girls without dogs" was a little innaccurrate. The prizes were great and we are about to sign up for the next two to defend our title.
