So far so good - ish!

Right - feeling inspired, I decided to get Blizz back into running when I want her to not just when she feels like it. 22.00hrs last night we went out for a jog instead of our usual eve walk. Blizz ran ok - I was getting used to the headtorch and it's tough knowing where to go in the dark. I live in the middle of lots of hills but not too sure I want to be going up those in the dark. They take you a long way from civilisation and if I fell or had a problem it would not be good. We did a short two miles but at a very slow pace about 20 mins.

Then I realised when I went to bed I could not sleep! What is with that? I spent most of the night awake - something that i have never experienced before - very odd.

6.28am decided to work with Blizz again - She hates mornings and as yet I have not been able to even get her to jog before 9.00am but we ARE going to persevere! in 29mins of runing we covered two miles - a little frustrating but to be fair to Blizz she seemed to be getting a bit more into it in the second mile.

Lunch time run was with the pupils at school on the cross country which was pleasant - Another 2 miles.

In the evening the skies looked a little threatening so me and Fluffbag set out again just on a short run through the rabbit fields and onto the canal - we did a nice 2.6 miles running and then a mile cooldown walking. The pace was definately better 8 min mile pace for most of the time.

I wouldn't usually do such short runs with her, but as I am trying to change her training we will see how it goes! Maybe we will get a long run up in the fells sometime over the weekend.
